Adult Sunday School - 9:00 a.m. Sunday Mornings
FOUR CLASSES ARE BEING OFFERED FOR ADULTS
The Table A casual Christian conversation place with topic varying each week, ranging from our faith walks, our reformed tradition, Bible study, and current events. A special six-week Bible study on the prophet Amos begins November 7.
Life Matters In this study we seek to be become more familiar with God's Word, to understand how we can apply God's Word to parenting our children, and to enjoy fellowship with others seeking to do the same. Led by a facilitator, we are studying the Gospel of Matthew, as well as other readings.
Work in Progress A community of singles and couples, with and without children, ranging in age from late 20’s- early 40’s (but all are welcome). This Sunday School Class incorporates the opportunity for spiritual growth, service, and fellowship. Studies will vary based on topics chosen by the class. Class format will include a combination of “kitchen table” discussions, organized Bible study, and guest speakers. We have adult functions (small group dinners, holiday parties, etc.); both men’s and women’s events; and plenty of activities involving our children. Join us Sunday mornings for breakfast and thought provoking study in the Great Hall.
Who are the Presbyterians? This is an ongoing class designed for new members and those wanting to learn more about our reformed tradition and worship. While not a requirement for joining the church, new folks are encouraged to attend a few of these classes to learn why we do things the way we do. This class will meet on Sundays at 9:15 a.m. in the sanctuary and each week there will be handouts and a time to ask questions. This class will be led by Pastor Mike.
Women's Bible Study - 9:30-11:00 Wednesday Mornings
The Women's Bible Study is growing fast, and includes many participants who have not been in Bible studies previously. We are currently studying the book of Genesis. The Bible study meets Wednesdays from 9:30-11:00 a.m. at the church. If you have any questions, please contact Sallie Aldrich, Dottie Kelley, or Nancye Mullaney.
Men's Bible Study - 7:00-8:00 Friday Mornings
Each Friday morning from 7 a.m. to 8 a.m. at the church office. Over coffee, as many as a dozen men of the church consider together the content, meaning, and application of scriptures. The men are currently studying the book of Exodus.
Palmetto Paperbacks - 2nd Thursday each Month at 6:30 p.m.
The women’s evening book club, The Palmetto Paperbacks, meets the 2nd Thursday of the month at 6:30pm. For information on what we’re reading or if you’d like to join us, please contact Julie Martin
Wings of Faith - 3rd Tuesday each Month at 9:30 a.m.
