Men's Ministries

Men's Bible Study

Each Friday morning from 7 a.m. to 8 a.m. at the church office.  Over coffee, as many as a dozen men of the church consider together the content, meaning, and application of scriptures. For information, contact Gary Mullaney.

Work Days

The Men's Ministry works with our Outreach Team to plan all day work projects in the fall and spring in the Huger community.  These projects include building steps and handicapped ramps, painting and improvements to the local community center.

Hiking Ministry

The Men's Hiking Ministry includes adventure and exercise, good food and fellowship, prayer and sharing, lots of laughter, and don't forget aching muscles and sore backs.  Two hiking trips are planned each year on Mt. Pisgah in the Blue Ridge Parkway of North Carolina.  Contact Derrick Russ at 703-217-0605 or David Steele at 843-607-2015.

Women's Christian Book Club

Wings of Faith is a Christian Fiction Book Club that meets the 3rd Tuesday of every month from 9:30-11:00 a.m. (unless otherwise noted). We read books that help us dig deep for a closer walk with God and our faith. You do not have to be an avid reader—in fact, we don't all finish the book all the time. It is about the fellowship, the "you and God" time, and how to grow further in your faith journey. Check the e-POST weekly bulletins and the monthly newsletter for what we are reading. Contact:  Lori Russ at loriruss@bellsouth.net

Palmetto women's evening book club, "Grounds for Thought," meets  on a regular basis the  first Thursday of each month @ 7:00 p.m. We will meet at the Tuck residence  - 720 Darrell Creek trail (1/2 mile from PPC). Please join us for coffee, dessert, and some great discussion as we look at an inspiring Christian fiction novel.  Contact:  Kendra Tuck at 881-0737 or pokeytuck@gmail.com
